IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

What a wonderful thing to wake up to! Nothing but destruction as far as the eye can see! A true hell on earth! It was as if all of LeChuck's dreams were coming true. In fact, this had put him in such a good mood that he didn't even mind that his nice pirate clothes had gone missing. Ah, he so did love the smell of brimstone in the morning!]

[A: You might find LeChuck today sitting on top of a pile of rubble that may have been a house once, staring off in the distance. Another Mayfieldian quietly contemplating his own mortality in the face of the apocalypse? Nah, he's admiring the magnificent view. But you can go ahead and think it's first one if you want.]

[B: You can also find LeChuck wandering through what's left of Mayfield, poking through the ruins for... supplies? Weapons? Who knows. When he sees you, he'll offer a neighborly wave and a smile.]

Quite a pickle we've gotten ourselves into, isn't it? You know, I've heard tales of pirate crews who, after being lost at sea for weeks and running out of food, were forced to kill their weakest members and eat them! But I'm sure it won't come to that here, right? We just need to stay positive! [hearty laugh]

Ah, yes, too bad about those turkeys/ All that food would come in handy! But, my dear, perhaps you are right! Why, with all of these smoldering ruins around, we may die of smoke inhalation first!

I doubt it. No, tomorrow there will probably be demands that we all start hunting each other for sport and that will go on for a few days till its everything back to normal again.

They do enjoy making us try to murder each other, don't they? They've got quite eccentric tastes when it comes to entertainment!

See, that's probably the next step. Tomorrow they will offer things back to people who kill for them, and they'll probably keep us dead.

Now the defense forces will band together and say not to succumb, and that we're above us, and many of them will do so, but there will be a few who go out on a murder rampage and get the better materials. The humane thing would be probably to prepare for that but given this town, the smart thing to do right now would probably be to murder the strong opponents before they know its a game, then pick off the weak ones.

[She shrugs a bit and lets out a disgusted sigh]

I see you've been through quite a lot of these little 'events', haven't you? Judging from my own past experiences, I'd say you are correct! And, as heartless as it may seem that your plan may be the sure bet if survival is one's goal.

The other option is this is starvation and then, once again, its probably best to off the stronger people before they realize that so that the pick of the food stores can be controlled.

This place is all about despair and forcing people to be their worst so I don't expect much.
